MEET THEFOUNDER
Born and raised in the Norwegian countryside, surrounded by the fjord, mountains and ski slopes, Kirsti Prestmarken developed an early appreciation for nature and seeking social scenes, art and design.
Her Scandinavian roots, enriched by her travels and time spent living in New York and London, have shaped her perspective on architecture, culture and the way a space can be seen and experienced limitless...
Hospitality has been part of her world for generations, from her grandparents welcoming guests to their countryside farm guesthouse to her parents managing restaurants and a conference hotel. This early exposure, combined with a passion for music, dance and nightlife, sparked a lasting fascination with the atmosphere of social spaces and how they bring people together.
As founder and creative lead of Studio KAAPE, Kirsti brings a personal and collaborative approach to every project, combining creative curiosity with a practical understanding of how spaces should look, feel and perform..
